Recently, the China Food Industry Association has released the “Food Ice Production and Operation Hygiene Standard” (T/CNFIA 187—2024), a group standard. Shandong Baocheng Refrigeration Equipment Co.,Ltd, as one of the drafting units, has actively participated in the formulation of this standard.

 

This standard covers various types of food ice products, including edible ice that can be consumed directly, preservative ice that extends the shelf life of food, and food ice used in food processing and other related applications.

The document stipulates the product classification, basic requirements, site selection, environment, design layout, and internal structure materials of food ice. It also covers the hygiene management of facilities and equipment, raw materials, additives, and related products. Additionally, it includes standards for food safety control during the production process, ice packaging (e.g. ice block packaging machine, ice stick packing machines, ice lolly packing machine), inspection, ice storage and ice transportation (distribution), terminal sales, product recall, management systems, personnel training, record and document management, and more. These standards are applicable to the production, inspection, and sales of food ice.
